We have a small workout room upstairs in our house, and when we go up there to workout, Stella soon follows. She doesn’t like to miss out on all the fun.

The first thing my kids do when they get home from school is throw their bags on the floor and head to the pantry for snacks. Stella almost immediately curls up on one of their backpacks. She is strangely drawn to them. She’ll do this with my husband’s laptop bag as well.
My kids got out a bunch of games to play one day. Stella quickly found her favorite.
Stella is helping pass out the Halloween candy this year. She is totally unfazed by all of the commotion.
I love The Oatmeal, and I love this comic “How to pet a kitty” so much that I actually bought the poster last Christmas and hung it in my office. Click here to see the full comic. Only cat people will relate.
My kids have moved on (well, sort of) from Pokemon and are now into Beyblades. After their intense battle has ended, the battle stadium makes for a perfectly contoured bed for Stella.
My youngest son loves to make tents. He is always destroying my pillows after I have them perfectly arranged on my chairs and sofa and loves rearranging my furniture to get his tent just right. He also goes through phases where he likes to build beds for Stella. She loves a good place to lie down. He even gave her a few Nerf darts and magnet balls to play with.

The two places we don’t allow our cat to be in our house are on our kitchen table and our kitchen counters. One day I came into the kitchen and she was defiantly sitting on the kitchen counter. The towel she is on is the towel we use to lay the wet dishes on that are washed by hand. She is close to the CLEAN dishes that are in the dishwasher – sometimes we leave the dishwasher door open as a reminder to our oldest son that it is time to unload the dishwasher. Mmmmmm…anyone want to come over for dinner now?
